We've been accredited Green Tourism gold!

After months of hard work, we're proud to have achieved gold status through the city's Green Tourism programme.
This prestigious accolade is the culmination of months of hard work for The Box team, which has made a number of important commitments to the climate emergency, including:
🛰 Solar panels which can harvest 35,000kW energy per year
🐝 20,000 British Black Bees to expand the local population
💡 LED lighting to reduce energy consumption
🤝 Using local suppliers and ethical products
♻️ Cutting down on plastic packaging
The team have displayed an excellent understanding of sustainability as well as an awareness of the opportunities and challenges associated with running a responsible business. The Box have scored well across all 15 sustainability indicators and have performed particularly strongly in the Awareness, Energy, Equality, Health & Wellbeing, and Waste goals during this assessment.
