Mayflower 400 Community Sparks

Mayflower 400 Community Sparks

Community Sparks funds community and creative projects for Mayflower 400.

Mayflower 400 Community Sparks was set up to support grass-roots community, arts and cultural projects in the city through a series of bursaries of up to £5,000.

Over 60 different initiatives have been funded to date. They include street parties, community murals, tea dances, film screenings and picnics. Applications for the fourth and final round of Mayflower 400 Community Sparks have now closed.

Funding has supported a plethora of inspiring projects linked to the themes of imagination, humanity, freedom and future which will be delivered until June 2021.

Mayflower 400 Community Sparks is a partnership project between Mayflower 400, Plymouth Culture, Plymouth City Council, The Box and Vital Sparks.
