Bug Handling: 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30-3.30pm
Join scientists from the University of Plymouth who’ll be bringing their giant bugs in for you to handle including some specimens from Polynesia.

Cosmic Dust Workshops: 10.30am-12pm, 1-2.30pm and 3-4.30pm
Help identify cosmic dust particles from material collected from The Box’s roof using state of the art microscopes. Any micrometeorites found will be recorded with your name.

Meet and chat to MA students from the University of Plymouth, as they explore myths about our oceans and how we’re all connected.

Inclusive Oceans: 10am-4pm
As we build up to World Oceans Day discover more about a new pioneering partnership between Plymouth Sound National Marine Park and the University of Edinburgh’s BSL Glossary Project. They’re supporting the launch of Project MUFFIN which aims to make marine science and environmental engagement more accessible to Deaf communities. With thanks to the University of Plymouth.

Hands in Harmony BSL Choir: 3-3.30pm
Enjoy a performance by the Hands in Harmony choir who perform British Sign Language to a wide range of songs instead of singing. Now in its seventh year, the choir is an inclusive group of deaf and hearing people with varying BSL abilities and has performed for many local events and venues.
