Outdoor cinema FAQs

Helpful information about our Outdoor cinema programme.

Will we be watching the film in The Box?
Our screen will be situated outdoors on the side of St Luke’s (you will still be able to see the figureheads from your seat!)

Can I buy tickets on the night?
We strongly recommended booking in advance, as we anticipate these screenings to sell out. Tickets sales on the night will be subject to availability and by card only.

Do I need to bring a chair/blanket?
All standard ticket holders will need to bring their own chair/blanket to sit on during the film. We regret that we are unable to provide additional blankets/seating on the night.

What does the VIP ticket include?
The VIP ticket included a deckchair in our VIP area and a bag of popcorn.

Is seating allocated?
No. Each ticket has an individual number but you can choose where to sit on the night, as long as it’s in the area for which you have booked (VIP or Standard).

Can I bring alcohol?
No, please do not bring alcoholic drinks with you. There will be fizz, wine or beer available to buy from the Little Box or the Kitchen & Bar. We are a ‘Challenge 25’ venue and will be conducting bag checks upon entry.

Can I bring food?
You are welcome to bring small snacks in with you, or purchase food on the night from The Box Kitchen & Bar or the newly opened Little Box.

What time does the film start?
The film will start at 7.30pm.

What time should I arrive?
Doors will open from 7pm. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the films starts so you can grab your seats, buy a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

Can I get a refund if the weather is bad?
Our screenings will go ahead rain or shine. We regret that no refunds will be given.

Is there disabled access?
Our site is fully accessible, including our toilets (in St Luke’s).

Are children allowed to come?
Children are welcome at the events, so long as they meet the age rating of the film. You don’t need to purchase a ticket for babies under 12 months.

Are dogs allowed to come?
Well behaved dogs are welcome to sit and watch the film at your feet.

Where will the toilet be?
Toilets for the screening can be found in St Luke’s.

What are your COVID-19 safety measures?
Although social distancing may have been eased by the time of this events programme, we’ll have a few simple measures to help protect you whilst you’re with us. We are running screenings at a reduced capacity and hold details of all ticket holders. Optional hand sanitiser will be available on entry and we will be regularly sanitising touch points throughout the event. All of our seating will be disinfected before and after use.
