Celebrate Christmas at The Box
22 October 2025
There are plenty of Christmas treats on offer at The Box this year. From late November until late December its St Luke’s church gallery will be transformed into a truly festive space with a programme of wonderful seasonal events for everyone to enjoy.
The seasonal sparkle begins on 22 and 23 November with a 'Winter Makers Market' where you can browse and buy gifts and stocking fillers from a selection of exceptional local makers and artists. On 27, 28 and 29 November a range of Wreath Making Workshops will be taking place for adults, families and groups. Come and create beautiful, sustainable decorations with locally sourced materials. If you’re in the planning stages of a wedding, why not go along to a 'Wedding Fair' on 30 November, where you can meet and chat to a range of local suppliers and gather inspiration for your special day?
The hugely popular 'Breakfast with Santa' is back for another year and slots are available on 7, 14 and 21 December. Come and meet Father Christmas while you enjoy the most important meal of the day. All adult tickets include unlimited tea/coffee while all child tickets include a gift.
The wonderful sounds of Alex Hart return to The Box on 14 December when she’ll be performing a mix of festive tunes with a folk twist and support by up-and-coming local musician Jon Fazal. If you’re looking for a unique experience or an extra special party night, how about a 'Regency Ball'? With candlelight, a string quartet, drinks, canapes, dancing and games, 19 December is set to be a very splendid evening indeed!
Family fun is firmly on the agenda on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. On 24 December, The Candlelight Theatre Company will present 'Naughty or Nice'. Mistletoe, the naughtiest elf at the North Pole, has arranged for everyone to meet Santa but has lost the 'Naughty or Nice' list. How will Santa deliver presents without this important document?
On 31 December, a 'Family Party' will be taking place from 4-7pm. Enjoy a countdown, party tunes, face painting and glitter and still be home in time to put the kids to bed. Adult tickets will include a free hot drink while child tickets will include a party tea and treats.
