11am-12.30pm: Artist Talk: In Conversation with Goshka Macuga | Foulston Room
Join Turner Prize nominee and Royal Academician Goshka Macuga and hear her talk about her practice and her works in the 'Remember Respond Resist' exhibition, which explore themes of protest and Her work explores themes of protest, resistance and censorship.

1.30-2.30pm: Live Performance: 'Picture This' by Alix Harris and Beyond Face Youth Company | Foulston Room
Young people from Plymouth and Exeter share their perspectives on city life, from the everyday to the extraordinary. This is a vibrant performance by Beyond Face Youth Company, part of the Cities Exchange collaboration with 20 Stories High, Company Three and Zoo Co.

3-4.30pm: Talk: Shared Shores: Anglo-Polish History and Heritage | Foulston Room
Discover the enduring ties between Poland and the South West through two compelling talks. Martin Hazell explores the arrival of Polish naval forces in WWII and their legacy, while Richard Sroka traces the post-war Polish community in Plymouth—from resettlement camps to cultural celebrations.
Plymouth Community History Festival 2025 has been organised by WonderZoo, The Box Plymouth, Beyond Face - Theatre Company and Plymouth Walks With History. It's funded by Plymouth Octopus - POP and the Tamar Valley National Landscape Tamara Landscape Partnership.
