Join artist Kathy Wray for a life drawing class that uses creative methods to explore the human body as a landscape and spark the imagination. Inspired by the current ‘Forbidden Territories: 100 Years of Surreal Landscapes’ exhibition, the session will explore composition, sculptural approaches, tone and depth, scale, mark-making and wider concepts. Bring your sketchbooks with you. All resources will be provided for the session but please feel free to bring along any of your favourite art materials. This class is for adults only.

About the artist

Kathy Wray is a practising visual artist who also writes poetry and regularly teaches, she is based in Cornwall and has exhibited across the South West. Her creative visual work is inspired by somatic movement and expression through emotional connections and states of mind - exploring themes revolving around loss and abandonment. She researches history and cultural impacts of oppression upon society. She practises meditation, qigong and experiences through spending time in nature.
