Songlines: The immersive dome
Anyone walking past The Box in recent weeks can’t have missed the huge dome that’s currently located in Tavistock Place. Like many other elements in the ‘Songlines: Tracking the Seven Sisters’ exhibition, it brings together ancient locations and stories with the very latest in technology.

Songlines: Walking through a Songline
Our 'Songlines: Tracking the Seven Sisters' exhibition (on display until 27 February 2022) takes visitors on a journey across three Australian deserts and we’re currently exploring the first one – Martu Country. Just before you reach the gallery about it at The Box, you encounter ‘Walking through a Songline’ – an installation that’s been proving popular with our visitors, young and old.

Exhibition programme highlights for 2022 unveiled
The Box is delighted to reveal highlights from its 2022 exhibitions programme. Over the course of the year, local talent will be celebrated alongside international artists – including several Turner Prize nominees – through ground breaking and timely exhibitions that draw on the permanent collections and which bring new works and collaborators to Plymouth.
