It’s been nearly seven weeks since we announced our decision to postpone our launch. Since then we know everyone has been faced with difficult and uncertain times. Although we’re not in a position to confirm a new opening date just yet, we have been working hard behind the scenes over the last few weeks.

Plymouth’s popular annual History Festival is going online this year, and will run from Friday 8 to Sunday 31 May with new content published daily on its website and social media channels to highlight the city’s brilliant heritage sector and history.

Covid-19 Commissions: Plymouth After Dark - A week in the life of a locked down musician

We've announced four music commissions of £500 each as part of our response to the ongoing health crisis. ‘A week in the life of a locked down musician’ will form part of our major Plymouth After Dark project, as well as support some of the local musicians whose livelihoods have disappeared since government restrictions began in March.

Statement on COVID-19

In recent weeks we’ve been monitoring the fast changing health situation regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19) and taking regular advice from the Director of Public Health. We’ve been trying to remain positive but, based on the most up-to-date advice from the government, we’ve decided to postpone our launch on 16 May.
